We are looking for

An Customer Success Engineer (CSE). This is a full time position. We are considering remote applicants, but candidates local to Milwaukee, WI or Boulder, CO are preferred. This position will be expected to travel at times to customers for support, demonstrations and/or debug customer systems and programs.

If our customers are successful, then WE are successful.

The person in this position will develop, demonstrate and support customers in both pre and post sales cycles. The CSE will be required to develop RF related applications, work with engineering to port drivers or other software to customer platforms as well as present and demonstrate solutions to customers. They will be expected present options to customers based on the customer requirements, and when not available, assist customers in developing requirements. There will also be pre and post sales support that will be handled by the CSE, and when unable to find a solution, work with engineering to find solutions.

A successful CSE provides pre and post-sales support to customers and the sales organization. On any given day, you may be called on to:

- Be involved in all aspects of the sales cycle from initial customer presentations, to program development and demonstration, including post sales customer support. 
- PCB layout and schematic review and capture.
- Firmware development of peripheral drivers or applications
- Be the technical contact for key customers and distributors during in-design of modules
- Keep close connection to customers to find the best module for their design and optimized technical solution.
- Debug and test of customer HW and SW
- Create application notes and other technical documents to help customers
- Other technical tasks within RF HW design, PCB design, RF module applications
- Document customer interactions and assists engineering in making our offerings more user friendly.
- Provide technical support for customer issues. 
- Participate in new product introduction verification for both hardware and software product components, and recommend product revisions.
- Provide technical assistance in the preparation of proposals and quotations.
- Additional activities include product training, trade show assistance and sales meetings, new product testing, etc

What You Need For Success

- Experience in electronics development or wireless communication
- Solid knowledge of microcontroller programming, wireless communication, and RF circuits
- Knowledge in WiFi, Bluetooth, BLE, Zigbee, Thread, NFC, etc
- Other relevant experience in PCB design, RF HW design, antenna design, RF measurements, gateways and cloud solutions, FreeRTOS, Linux, Python or LabView programming
- Basic knowledge of Git
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Have good communication and teamwork skills
- Result oriented, customer focus and service minded
- Consistently meet deadlines and is able to work under pressure
- Have excellent time management skills and attentive to details and quality
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Bonus points for…

- Intermediate knowledge of electronics design/manufacturing a plus
- RF electronics practical experience or coursework a plus
- "Hands on" soldering skills including down to the 0201 size chip components
- "Hands on" experience using RF test equipment such as:
    - Oscilloscope  
    - Signal generators  
    - Spectrum analyzers  
    - Amplifiers  
    - Splitters  
    - Switches
