About the Role

The Customer Success Engineer is a hybrid role spanning technical development, support, and customer-facing collaboration. You’ll be working closely with clients integrating RF technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee) into Linux- or FreeRTOS-based systems. You’ll also act as a bridge between our customers and engineering teams, ensuring successful deployments and continuous improvement of our solutions.

What You’ll Do

- Partner with Sales during pre- and post-sales cycles to deliver customer solutions
- Design and develop RF application examples for embedded platforms
- Support and debug customer hardware and firmware (on-site when needed)
- Review and assist in PCB schematic/layout and driver porting
- Advise customers on module selection and integration best practices
- Create and maintain technical documentation (application notes, guides, etc.)
- Act as a customer advocate to internal teams, helping shape future product direction
- Contribute to product verification, testing, and trade show support
- Manage and maintain detailed customer interaction records


What You Bring

Must-Have Skills:

- Strong embedded systems background (e.g., C/C++, peripheral drivers)
- Experience with embedded Linux (Buildroot, Yocto) and FreeRTOS
- RF fundamentals (wireless protocols, antenna basics, integration practices)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Comfort with debugging embedded systems and writing customer-facing technical docs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks
- Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite customer support

Technical Tools & Experience:

- Wireless protocols: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth/BLE, Zigbee, Thread, NFC
- Bootloaders (e.g., U-Boot)
- Git and basic version control workflows
- Python or LabVIEW experience is a plus

Bonus Points:

- Hands-on soldering experience (down to 0201 size)
- RF hardware, antenna design, or PCB layout experience
- Cloud gateway integration knowledge
- Practical experience in electronics manufacturing or field deployment
- RF test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators)
