NEC ADS Design Kit NEC Device Parameter Libraries for use with Agilent's design automation software
The NEC Design Kit provides CEL customers with a quick and convenient way to import non-linear models for NEC's semiconductor devices into Agilent's ADS Software. Designed to be used with the ADS2002, ADS2002C, and ADS2003C versions of ADS, the models in this kit can run on either PC or Unix-based platforms.
How to Download and Update to Release V.1.5, 2/10/2005
- First you must Un-Install your current version of the NEC Design Kit:
- 1. Launch ADS on your computer.
- 2. In the pull-down menu under DesignKit in the tool bar on the ADS Main Page, select Setup Design Kits...
- 3. Select NEC_mdl and, at the bottom of the window, select the CUT button.
- 4. Select APPLY.
- 5. CLOSE the ADS program.
- Next you must download and install the new version of the NEC Design Kit
- 1. Download NEC ADS Design Kit V.1.5 (File Size: 2.2 MB), click here.
- 2. RE-LAUNCH THE ADS SOFTWARE ON YOUR COMPUTER.
- 3. In the pull-down menu under DesignKit in the tool bar on ADS Main Page, select Install Design Kits...
- 4. The NEC Design Kit you download is a Zip file. To unzip it click Unzip Design Kit Now...
- 5. ADS will offer Path and Level options and complete the installation.
