Module

MeshConnect modules deliver industry-leading performance and a rich set of features, all at a surprisingly low cost. They're based on CEL's MeshConnect ZIC2410, an integrated IC platform that combines a powerful RF transceiver with a baseband modem, hardware MAC and 8051-based 8-bit microprocessor.

With scalable data rates from 250Kbps to 1Mbps, MeshConnect modules can meet the needs of simple 802.15.4 networks as well as applications that demand higher bandwidth or "burst" capability. In addition, they feature a unique, on-chip audio Codec that opens up a new world of low cost, voice transmission applications like wireless intercoms and walkie-talkies.

The MeshConnect module's +6dBm output power means better range, more reliable transmission and fewer nodes in your network. It also makes these modules ideal for applications where cost and power constraints do not allow for external power amplifiers or peripheral range extension components.

MeshConnect modules support ZigBee certified stacks, so they'll run ZigBee mesh network applications and interface with other ZigBee components. CEL provides a variety of software tools designed to dramatically speed your time-to-market using these ZigBee-related applications. We also provide support for third party mesh stacks, so you can choose other software implementations that may better meet your needs.

CEL MeshConnect modules are FCC, IC and CE certified, which eliminates the need for a costly, time consuming certification of your products. They're part of a growing family of modules, transceiver ICs, and range extension components like Power Amplifiers, LNAs and RFIC switches.
